After a disappointing 2015 season, the Houston Rockets decided to have a change in leadership and game plan by hiring Mike D'Antoni as head coach. Known as one of the best offensive-minded coaches in the league, he decided to put James Harden at the point guard position, and this has worked wonders for him and the team as well. In the regular season, James Harden has averaged 29.1 points, 11.2 assists and 8.2 rebounds- two rebounds shy of averaging a triple double for the whole season as well as being the assists leader this season. Aside from this, James Harden has also put up bizarre performances throughout the regular season, just like when he scored 50+ pts, 15+ assists, and 15+ rebounds in this season TWICE. Because of this, he was able to lead his team to the third best record in the stacked Western Conference, and this helps his case even more for his MVP campaign.
My loading screen is based on James Harden's wizardry this season, where he was "cooking" during every game.
