This month, 2 NBA regular season games were played in Mexico, where the Dallas Mavericks and the San Antonio Spurs faced off the Phoenix Suns on separate occasions. The Phoenix sophomore Devin Booker scored 39 in both games.
PHOENIX and MEXICO CITY, July 20, 2016 – The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Zignia Live announced today that the Phoenix Suns will take on the Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs in the first consecutive regular-season games in Mexico Jan. 12 and 14, respectively, at the Mexico City Arena. The games will mark the first time the league hosts two regular-season contests in Mexico in the same season.
